Warply launches in Brazil the “keyboard payments” solution

Warply, the established, multi-awarded fintech and Loyalty Company, member of Mastercard start path, announced its expansion in Brazil, with a new office in Saο Paolo and the up-and-coming launch of Warply Keyboard Payments for mobile payments and P2P transactions, in cooperation with leading financial institutes in Brazil. Warply Keyboard Payments is a native mobile keyboard that leverages on-device natural language understanding (NLU) and delivers personalized financial and retail checkout services via messaging apps.

Through Warply Keyboard Payments, everyday payments become easier and more efficient, as banking / ecommerce apps are capable of combing the conversational UI convenience within users' preferred messaging applications, including FB Messenger, iMessage, WhatsApp, Skype, WeChat, Telegram etc. The Payments Keyboard already supports various banking cases including p2p, p2b and real-time payments, card present payments through push payments, micro loans and micro insurance. The keyboard actually acts as an extension of the Bank’s or ecommerce mobile application, utilizing existing payment infrastructure to secure transactions, while the payment process is done and controlled completely by the bank.

The benefits for the end-users are major, since they need only to update their mobile banking/merchant app - that has been enabled with Warply Keyboard Payments – and they will be able to make transactions, without having to leave the social app or switch to a different app or webpage. So, while typing within the messaging app, user can switch to the payments keyboard, authenticate himself as bank customer, input amount and complete the transaction.

Warply Keyboard Payments is to be deployed soon with several financial institutes in Brazil, soon to be announced. Warply keyboard payments is available for iOS & Android devices.
