Happy: The first mobile app which allows users to donate directly to charities

Happy is the first mobile application that enables users to help financially those in need, by offering donations to charities, easily through the app. The collaborating foundations are: ELEPAP, Elisa, ALMA, Asylo toy Paidioy, Kalos Samaritis, Grammi Zois, Filozoiki Paremvasi Argyroupolis – Ellinikou and soon there are more to come. The donation process has been developed in such a way that is easy and hassle-free. The users can add their bank card details, then choose the amount they wish to donate and finally, select the Organization they want to donate to. 

The transferred amount goes directly to the institution’s account, while the user receives the payment receipt via email. The happy application accepts all Greek bank cards (debit, credit and prepaid).

In addition to the donations, users are able to be informed about the latest news and actions of the Charitable Organizations via push notifications. It is a project which contributes to the community, which will run all year round. The application is available for free on Android and iOS, and the goal is to add as many institutions and organizations that are in need of support.
